Care Instructions for Bamboo Products

We're so happy you chose our bamboo products! They're designed to be long-lasting, but just like any other natural product, if you want to keep them looking their best, don't forget to give them some love and care.

Handle with care

It's important to keep in mind that our products aren't immune to heavy falls or repeated knocks. If you accidentally drop or hit them too hard, it could cause cracks, splits, or scuffs, which might make them unsafe to use. So, let's try to handle them with care to keep them in tip-top shape!

Washing and storing

We recommend hand-washing our products instead of using a dishwasher or microwave, but don't worry, it's super easy!
Our products are made of bamboo, which means they naturally fight off bacteria and germs, so all you need is some warm soapy water to keep them clean and fresh.
Just be sure to remove the silicone ring before drying, so it can dry properly. We wouldn't want any mildew popping up! So always remember to dry your bamboo products thoroughly after washing them.

Adding an extra care

If you have any bamboo bowls or plates at home, it's a good idea to keep them in great condition by applying a little bit of oil every now and then. This helps to keep the wood nice and supple, which is always a good thing, right? Just thought you might like to know!

Having mildew on your bamboo plates? Don't Panic!

Mold is a common problem that can occur in warm and damp conditions. To prevent this, it is important to remove the silicone ring before drying the product completely after washing. Leaving products wet or soaked for prolonged periods can encourage mold growth.

If you do encounter mold, there is no need to worry as we have two methods that are highly effective in removing it.

1. Vinegar Method

Vinegar, a mild acid, is a viable solution in combating mildew. It is recommended to use white distilled vinegar and pour it into an undiluted state into a spray bottle. Apply the solution to any moldy surface and allow it to rest for one hour.
Once the time has elapsed, wipe the surface clean with water and allow it to air dry. Any residual scent from the vinegar should subside within a few hours.

2. Baking Soda Method

Baking soda, a mild and safe mineral powder, is a versatile agent that can be used for eliminating mold from indoor surfaces.
Besides, it poses no harm to your family and pets. In addition to its mold-removing properties, baking soda absorbs moisture, thereby preventing mold from recurring.
To remove mold, mix a quarter tablespoon of baking soda with water in a spray bottle and shake until it dissolves. Next, apply the baking soda and water solution to the affected area and use a scrub brush to remove all mold from the surface.
Thoroughly rinse the surface with water to eliminate any residual mold, and then spray the area again.
Allow the area to dry completely to prevent mold growth. These alternative non-toxic solutions offer an excellent substitute to chemical-based cleaners. They are ecologically sound and safe to use, making them ideal for use in homes and offices.
Furthermore, these products are widely available and affordable in most stores, making them a practical choice for anyone looking for a safe, efficient, and economical solution to mold removal
